Central Consolidated School District is made up of 18 schools and locations that serve the communities of Kirtland, Naschitti, Newcomb, Ojo Amarillo, and Shiprock New Mexico. Many other faculties are also open to the public and community that range from Performing Arts Centers, Swimming Pools, Libraries, and other facilties.

Performing Arts Centers

Located in Shiprock and Kirtland New Mexico, these Perfoming Arts Centers present a variety of shows and plays that are available to the public.


Diné Bí Rural Library

Located in Newcomb, New Mexico, the Dine' Bi Rural Library provides internet and full public library services, including a Notary Public, to the people and communities in southern San Juan County. Reading materials and programs such as story time, crafts and family night are available for people of all ages. The library is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. March through October, and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the winter months.


Swimming Pools

Located in Shiprock and in Kirtland, these facilities are open to the general public at specified times of the year.
